The 21-year-old player, Lasse Qvigstad, who netted Bryne’s only goal of the game received 40 bags of oatmeal, 100 eggs, and 20 liters of milk as Bryne player of the match.
While most clubs hand out trophies, gift cards, or even custom jerseys, Bryne’s down-to-earth and somewhat rural tradition of giving practical, local goods continues to amuse fans and spark headlines.
