Chelsea Advance Talks To sign Prolific Attacker Despite Interest from other Clubs

It’s going to be a busy transfer window for Chelsea yet again, as the blues step up their interest to sign another Brighton and Hove Albion’s striker, Joao Pedro.
Despite strong interest from Newcastle United, Chelsea looks to be in line for the Brazilian Forward.
It’s said that Newcastle are reportedly ‘concerned’ that Chelsea will ‘hijack’ their pursuit of Brighton forward, as the blues already prepare to table an offer for him.
Close sources suggested that Chelsea held internal talks with the club board and they’re preparing for a move for Joao Pedro, though a bid is yet to be present but the Londoners are confident over an agreement with Brighton.
The Seagulls are said to want over £70M for the Brazilian, who scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 27 Premier League appearances last season.
Meanwhile, Joao has already told the club about his interest to leave so he’s expected to leave the club this summer and has a number of suitors, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United.
