Chelsea Agrees Loan Deal For Defender Despite Traveling For The Club World Cup

According to reports, Chelsea defender is set to leave the club on loan once their Club World Cup journey is over.

The blues looks like they’re the busiest club so far in this summer transfer window, with incomings and outgoing deals being processed smoothly.

The blues just completed the signing of Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro this week and are still in the market to negotiate more deals as they look to sell some players who haven’t fit into the Enzo Maresca system.

According to reports, the latest deal being processed is that young defender Aaron Anselmino is set to depart Chelsea on loan this summer.

It’s said that the Chelsea board are contemplating sending the Argentine on loan to Strasbourg – who are under the same ownership group as the Blues – however the player is attracting interest from elsewhere.

Rumors have it that Borussia Dortmund, French giants Marseille and Spanish outfit Real Betis are all credited with an interest in the 20-year-old Argentina’s defender.

The young defender who just joined the Chelsea first team this summer after a successful loan at parent club, Boca Juniors, just made his debut for Chelsea as a late substitute during their win over Benfica on Saturday.

The report suggests that the Blues are planning on sending the defender out on loan for the entirety of the upcoming season in an effort to help his development by benefitting from regular playing time.
